Geocache Description:

A lock-n-lock type container that will hold small to medium sized items hidden a short walk from the "Giraffe Entrance" to the Franklin Park Zoo.

I hid this cache in memory of my Grandma, Adele Heinz (11/20/1916-5/20/2008). She was a docent at the Buffalo Zoo for 21 years, after retiring as a fifth grade teacher. She loved zoos because they combined her love of animals with her love of teaching. It's named the "zoo trunk" after a program at the Buffalo Zoo bringing animals to schools.

It's only a short walk from two different parking lots, and one of two paths can be used to get near by. The last 100 feet or so involve some buskwacking, but nothing out of the ordinary. Please hide it well after visiting - although I chose an out-of-the-way spot, the park is quite popular. While you're here, consider visiting the zoo or looking for Elias' Cache near what used to be the bear cages.
