Geocache Description:

An easy traditional hidden in a nice suburban park. BYO pen.

This cache was placed as a part of the Great Eastlink Geocache Project. The Project involved 25 Geocaching Teams from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne who combined their efforts in July 2008 to create the largest cache series in Australia in which each cache in the series is individually owned by one team.
Our sincere thanks to Rabbitto for putting GEGP together.

Situated not far from the start of the new EastLink Motorway, Halliday Park has good open spaces with level walking paths, great play equipment, a war memorial, shaded seating, an assortment of bench seats, a native walk, toilets and a formal garden area.

BYO PEN! Initial contents of cache include an Ernies I love geocaching coin (unactivated, for finder to keep/activate) and a listmaker pathtag. I'd rather the coin and pathtag were taken without swapping than have a muggle get them.
