Geocache Description:

Easy walking and Cache is within 10 feet of trail.

THIS CACHE HAS BEEN REMOVED. WE HAVE POSTED THE PICTURES FROM THE CAMERA THAT WAS IN THE CACHE. WE WILL ARCHIVE THE LISTING IN A FEW OF WEEKS. BE SURE TO VISIT OUR NEW CACHE "WINTER SOLSTICE" GC2DA4
This cache is placed in celebration of the fall season in Michigan. It was put in place on the Autumnal Equinox, September 22 and will remain only until the Winter Solstice which falls on December 21 this year. The Autumnal Equinox occurs when sun crosses the plane of Earth's equator.
This makes the length of day and night approximately equal. From now on until next spring we will receive sunlight for less than half the day, bringing on first fall and then winter.
The Autumnal Equinox Cache is located in a clear plastic box with a blue top. You will find a camera which you could use to take a picture of your Geocache hunting team. Take a picture and leave the camera! Since there is at times heavy traffic in the area, please replace the cache the way you found it. Please note, we saw some poison ivy in the vegetation to the east of the cache.
Have fun!
