This is a fun day hike geocache in the Bighorn Mountains
This geocache location provides a great panoramic view of the northern Bighorn mountains. This is an easy half-day hike for most adults who are in good shape. Bring your camera. The geocache is located at a historic property, so please don't vandalize. Trail is about 1 mile long if 4WD is used to approach from the west. 2WD not recommended on this road. Trail is about 2 miles long if you walk down the forest service road from an upgraded road west of the geocache. Note: unless you have a snowmobile and snowshoes, or backcountry skis this cache is inaccessible from late October to early July. This is a summer to fall geocache. ATVs are allowed on most of the trail, but not recommended- walking is the way to go.
