As I, the nuttier nut, was out doing a cache in this nature preserve with the Zooming Boomers, we came across this trail that had a springhouse and a few ponds, one big enough for several large snapping turtles and bullfrogs. As we continued our walk we came to a bridge with the words “Environmentally Sensitive Area”. Now knowing where we were, I had known that this area was closed off for awhile. Since it is opened to the public again I thought this would be a great trail to put a cache on.
You will be walking on a well defined trail thru this Environmentally Sensitive Area . PLEASE DO NOT GET OFF THE PATH UNTIL YOU REACH THE CACHE AREA. Than you only have to search a short distance off the path in the usual type of area we cachers like.
. And there will be no need to search at the springhouse walls, but the cache will be close by.
Once again I like to THANK Tom Gettings and the Wildlands Conservancy for granting us permission to set up caches on their open space lands. We hope that you enjoy this area as much as we do.
