Geocache Description:

Burscough to Tarleton Canal is a branch of the Leeds Liverpool canal and was to be closed by the British Waterways. However, British opinion was so great they made the Ribble Link, thus linking Lancaster and Leeds / Liverpool canals at Preston.

The reason we have chosen this is because we walked along here a couple of weeks ago and saw the parent birds feeding the young in the nest up in the bridge, so thought it would be a good place for a cache. It is a Nano.
