Park & grab at a nice picnic area with plenty of parking.
This cache is at a picnic area near where Trooper Sammy Long was
shot & killed on November 21, 1976, see Fallen Hero cache
GCWR3Y. From this rest area a local hunter witnessed the murder of
Trooper Long, he then shot & killed the person who had just
shot the trooper, in our opinion, that makes him Another Hero as he
was trying to protect one who gave his life to protect us.
