Geocache Description:

Requires a hike of at least 2.3, roundtrip, miles of steep elevation. The trail choice will dictate difficulty.

Table Rock is a Delorme Unique Natural Area and provides spectacular views on clear days. We have hidden three easier caches along the route through the park and wanted to provide a little more challenging one for those willing to go the extra mile. This cache is located in the Grafton Notch State Park and can be accessed from the parking at Old Speck just beyond Moose Cave Gorge. There are two trails leading to the top of TableTop, the TableTop Trail and the Appalachian Trail, which intersects at about .9 miles an off-trail to the summit. The TableTop Trail is shorter, 1.1 miles, as opposed to the other, 1.4 miles, but of course, the longer trail is easier. Both trails will require rung climbing to get to the top and the cache which is within 90ft of the top. If you are the type to park your vehicle at the farthest parking spot away from the mall and walk to the entrance, then you can do this cache. The cache is an ammo box hidden near the top. Enjoy the hike and the challenge!
