This cache is located in Casalis State Forest. Parking is available off of Route 123 in Peterborough at N42 50.988 W071 55.850. Trails are not marked but are well worn. Trails will bring you within 100 ft of the cache.
The cache is a black disc shaped container about 3 inches diameter x 1 inch thick. It contains only a log, so please bring something to write with. Be sure to check out the stream and old bridge abutments below the cache.
As of 10/1/09, logging is still underway in the area. The cache itself is not affected, but the listed parking is currently closed. Alternate access is available off of Condy Road. Room for one car on the right at the bottom of the hill.
