The listed coordinates are NOT where the cache is hidden!
They will take you to the middle of the highway at the main park entrance.
You will have to think a bit about the clues,
then figure out where the actual cache location is.
Don’t sweat the details.
There’s nothing to it.
It’s the only place in the park where this cache can be hidden.
Happy hunting!
You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
This cache can also be reached (with a longer hike) from the winter parking area at any time of the year by crossing Carter Creek at the bridge. This will be necessary when the main gate to the park is closed (approximately late October to late April).
Trail maps, “The Visitor” newspaper, and Information on the annual park photography contest can be picked up at the main office information board or at the kiosk in the winter parking area.
A current Wisconsin State Parks sticker is required to park a vehicle in any part of the park at any time of year. Please stay on the marked trails at all times until you are near the cache, even though it may be more tempting to take a more direct route. Obey all park rules at all times.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Park Manager Joe Stecker-Kochanski of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
