Kätkön lisäksi Mikonsaaressa on myös opastettu luontopolku, joka
lähtee parkkipaikalta (N 61° 05.557 E 028° 11.688) pohjoiseen.
Kätkö on helppo hakea luontopolkua seuraten ja sopivassa kohdassa
siltä poiketen. Luontopolun loppupään lähettyvillä (N 61° 05.614 E
028° 12.038) on myös hyvä grillikatos sekä laituri kivalla
paikalla, jos ruoanlaitto ja/tai uiminen sattuu kiinnostamaan.
Itse kätkö on reilun puolen litran lock 'n lock, johon
geokolikot ja järkevän kokoiset travel bugit mahtuvat mainiosti.
Kätköpaikalla vierailee retkeilijöitä, joten peittelethän kätköä
sen verran ettei se pistä silmään.
In addition to the cache Mikonsaari has a nature trail which starts
from the parking place (N 61° 05.557 E 028° 11.688) and heads
north. There's a sign that says 'LUONTOPOLKU' and the trail is
marked with yellow stripes of plastic tied to trees. The cache is
easy to get by following the trail and hopping off the trail in the
right place. Near the end of the nature trail (N 61° 05.614 E 028°
12.038) there's a nice fireplace and a platform, if you like to do
some cooking or swimming.
The actual cache is a half a litre lock 'n lock container with
plenty of room for geocoins and reasonably sized travel bugs. The
cache site is sometimes visited by muggles so cover the cache so
that it's not too visible.
