There are only 31 confluence points in the entire state of Colorado according to www.confluence.org, and this is probably one of the easiest ones you will ever find. In case you were wondering, the next-closest confluence to this one is over 50 miles E/W or nearly 70 miles N/S.
Although the actual point of confluence (N 40° 00.000 W 105° 00.000) is just over the fence, a successful confluence visit is defined as being within 100 m, so this easily qualifies.
Note of caution: Baseline Road (Hwy 7) is a heavily-traveled thoroughfare with not much of a shoulder. Therefore, parking is advised on one of the side roads to the east (either Huron St. or County Road 7); please be cautious if you need to cross Hwy 7.
Historical note: There have been at least two former caches at this confluence point: GCKMYH and GCB9FB.
