Welcome to the oldest remaining cannery building on the lower Columbia River!
You can drive relatively close and walk a short distance. You can usually find a parking spot on the pier, but parking can be limited at times so you may need to walk in from land. Despite the location I was able to keep a good fix with the GPS.
If you are driving into Astoria and blink at the wrong time, you might miss this turn-off and the opportunity to explore some great history. This should be a quick hit, but you will want to spare some time to explore the history of this cannery that has been around since 1875.
Note: There is a bag in the cache that contains two different sheets with information about geocaching. If you see a muggle looking at you and trying to figure out what you are doing feel free to give them one or both and let me know in your log entry if the supply is running low.
