OLdweeb: After having a lock on the area since early 2005, I'm archiving all of my Little Tokyo & neighboring Arts District caches (except for Fu Man Joo) to open up the area for other hiders. All containers will be removed today. Thanks to everyone who came out to find them.

Geocache Description:

Park around the corner. It's a magnetically attached "Bison Tube" (a 1.5" long, 1/2" diameter painted metal cylinder) on the South side of the street.

The South side of the street has been gobbled up by upscale condominiums. The Metrolink Goldline station is just to the NE. The 5 acre empty lot directly across from the cache was scheduled to be the new LAPD HQ and a jail. Those plans fell through. Now money & politics will determine what is eventually built there.
