The cache is near the wooden pole which is believed to be a packhorse route marker from the 1700's. The carvings in the rocks at the base of the pole date back to the mid C17th and one of the oldest carvings is from around 1636.
You can park at the free car park at N 53° 22.033 W 001° 36.960 Or you can park nearer the Roman walkway by driving further round the reservoir to the end of the track.
The cache is a 1 litre plastic container wrapped in a black bag.
When placed, contents were:
Action man figure
Scented candle
Compass and pencil
Rubber gloves
Pack of cards
Log book and pen
TB
