Geocache Description:

MARENGO RIDGE WILL BE CLOSED Nov 18-20 and Dec 1-4, 2011.

NOTE: 12/15/09: Replaced the bags (where do the containers go?). It is a large lock'n'lock.

If you are a Stargate fan, you'll understand the name of the cache. Dr. Daniel Jackson, archeologist and peaceful explorer, has been resurrected in a variety of ways over the years. This cache moved from the nature trail to this trail and now into a new container and down the trail a bit.
We have enjoyed the trails in this park for many years and hope you'll have time to do some peaceful exploring, too.

•The geocache is on McHenry County Conservation District land with permission.
•Absolutely no cutting of brush or other vegetation is allowed.
•Visitors must remain on designated trails until you are right at the cache.
•It is the visitor’s responsibility to orient themselves with the site rules.

•At certain times of the year, sites will close for a variety of reasons.
Site may only be accessed through the main entrance for the park.
