The cache is located on the beautiful sandy golf link in Mulranny, Co. Mayo.
Easy to reach with children and and just takes 10 minutes to walk across the links to the cache site.
The cache is in an interesting place, brings back to the sad Famine time. When you finish here enjoy the Beach.

Arriving at Mulranny, (Hill of the Ferns), you encounter an idyllic seaside village located on the isthmus between Clew Bay and Blacksod Bay.
Mulranny is the home of colourful giant fuchsias and exotic plants. This natural profusion of colour and plant life is celebrated each summer during the Mulranny Mediterranean Heather Festival .
The four star Park Inn (formerly Mulranny) hotel is a magnificent Victorian building which towers above the village and offers spectacular views across Clew Bay towards the Mountain of Croagh Patrick. It has a 9 hole golf links course within five minutes drive of the hotel. Among the hotels many famous guests were John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

The cache is a small tupperware type box and contains various items for trading.

You can leave your car in front of the club house or drive
down the single track which will take you to another convenient parking spot.
