This cache is just one cache of a set of 24 caches named "IMC No. 4 …" (IMC = International Multi-Cache) dedicated to the theme Fire, one of the four basic elements of Earth.
These caches are hidden in 12 Countries worldwide:
AU = Australia, CA = Canada, CL = Chile, CZ = Czech Republic, DE = Germany, ES = Spain, NL = The Netherlands, NZ = New Zealand, PT = Portugal, SG = Singapore, TH = Thailand, ZA = South Africa
In each country there is a "primary cache" like this one and a "secondary cache" that can only be found with "hints" distributed to all primary caches.
The 12 primary caches are named "IMC No. 4 P-x - yyy" and the 12 secondary caches "IMC No. 4 S-x - zzz" where x is the country code given above and yyy and zzz can be any additional name.
The hints for the secondary caches are printed on "lists of hints" that are inside the primary caches. As the primary caches are scattered all over the world it will either require a lot of travelling or - and that is the intention of the IMC No. 4 - international cooperation:
If you want to find the secondary cache as well, you should contact finders of other primary IMC No. 4 caches and exchange the hints
And please don't be a poor sport!
Never publish these hints anywhere! Not in a log report or on any web side. The hints shall only be exchanged / traded between geocachers that found the primary caches and want to search the secondary caches.

Dieser Cache ist nur einer von einem Satz von 24 Caches, deren Namen mit "IMC No. 4" beginnt. IMC steht für Internationaler Multi Cache.
Die Cache-Serie IMC No. 4 ist dem Thema Feuer gewidmet, dem 4. der vier Elemente.
Diese Caches sind in 12 Ländern weltweit versteckt:

Die 12 Primär Cache heißen "IMC No. 4 P-xx - yyy" und die 12 Sekundär Caches "IMC No. 4 S-xx - zzz", wobei xx das Landeskürzel ist (s.o.) und yyy und zzz beliebige zusätzliche Namen.
Die Hinweise für die Sekundär Caches sind auf "lists of hints" gedruckt, die in den Primär Caches versteckt sind. Weil die Primär Caches über die ganze Welt verteilt versteckt sind, müsste man entweder sehr viel reisen oder - und das ist die Intention des IMC - international kooperieren:
Wenn Du auch den Sekundär Cache finden willst, musst Du die Finder der anderen IMC No. 4 P Cache ansprechen und mit Ihnen die Hints tauschen.
Und bitte sei kein Spielverderber:
Veröffentliche die Hints NIE, egal wo!! Nicht im Log und auf keine Webseite. Die Hints sollen nur zwischen Geocacher getauscht werden, die den Primär Cache gefunden haben und den Sekundär Cache suchen wollen.

The Cache:
Production of iron started in the Ennepe valley already in the 8th century. In the beginning they made tools and weapons for the personal use only. All you need to produce iron was found in the Ennepe valley: Ironstone and bog iron ore, many trees and hydropower. Later was in use since the 13th century to drive the fans and hammer in the blacksmith's shop. The contribution of the trees is explained in the IMC No. 4 S-DE - Charcoal Kiln / Holzkohlemeiler. It is assumed, that the iron production reached it's peak in the 18th and 19th century. During these times there were 18 water powered shops in the Ennepe and nearby valleys.
This cache is hidden near the Krenzer Hammer. This one is rather young and mentioned before 1800 for the 1st time. But in contrast to all other hammers this one is still active! I recommend to visit this cache at working days and call Mr. Krenzer a day or two in advance (+49 2333 75360). Because then you will get the opportunity to see the blacksmith's fire.

Schon ab dem 8. Jahrhundert wurde im Tal der Ennepe Eisen hergestellt, wenn auch zunächst nur in geringem Umfang zur Selbstversorgung mit Geräten und Waffen. Alles was dafür erforderlich ist, war im Tal der Ennepe vorhanden: Eisenstein und Raseneisenerz, viel Wald und Wasserkraft. Letztere wurde etwa ab dem 13. Jahrhundert zum Antrieb der Gebläse und Hammer in Schmieden genutzt. Wie der Wald dazu beitrug, könnt Ihr bei dem IMC No. 4 S-DE - Charcoal Kiln / Holzkohlemeiler nachlesen. Der Höhepunkt der Eisenwirtschaft wird im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert vermutet. In dieser Zeitspanne befanden sich im Tal der Ennepe und dessen Nebentälern mindestens 18 Wasserkraftbetriebe. Es gab Schleifkotten, Hammerwerke und Kleinschmieden.
Dieser Cache bringt Euch zum Krenzer Hammer. Dies ist einer der jüngeren Hammer und vor 1800 erstmalig erwähnt. Anders als die anderen Hämmer ist dieser aber noch im Betrieb! Jeder, der es einrichten kann, sollte diesen Cache werktags heben und sich vorher telefonisch mit Herrn Krenzer abstimmen (02333 75360), denn dann kann man das Schmiedefeuer sehen.
