Kobilarna Lipica ima večstoletno tradicijo vzreje in vzgoje konj. Od tu izvira zelo znana vrsta konj Lipicanec. Danes je tukaj mogoče početi še marsikaj drugega, od katerih je najbolj znan golf, ki ima zadnja leta žal več podpore s strani države kot osnovna dejavnost - vzreja konj.
Samo 15 min od glavnega kompleksa po cesti pridete do vrtače s kapelico Marije Lurdske. POZOR: na poti do tja ne potrebujete nobene vstopnine, saj to ni cerkev v kompleksu kobilarne, ampak manjša kapelica zunaj nje! Sicer nisva oboževalca cerkev na splošno, vendar je ta res nekaj posebnega in zato sva se odločila tukaj postaviti zakladek.

Lipica is a place with a long horse-breeding and training tradition. They also developed a autochton type of horse - the Lipizzaner. Today, there's quite a few activites available in and around the complex, including golf, which is lately apparently getting the better part of support and space provided for horses.
Just some 15' walk from the main complex you can visit the "Shrine of our Lady of Lurdesin the Dolina - Valley". It's a one-of-a-kind open air church in the middle of a small forest, built directly into the rock. We're not really fans of churches but we liked this one for its nice natural design.
Please note that you don't have to pay any fee to access this cache - a bigger church is in the complex but this one is out of the complex ground.
