The „ Salinas del Rio“ were once an important business, when salt was needed for the conservation of fish. Nowadays they are abandoned.
Hike of about 8 kms with 2x350 m height difference.
Leave your car at Las Rositas

When you have reached almost sea-level, you might head for the beautiful beach at
N29 12.369 W13 29.993
Be aware that on your way back the last 1,5 km (i.e. one hour) will be steep and exhausting.
Two important hints for this beautiful walk: wear trekking boots and carry enough water!
