Geocache Description:

South Tampa Greenway

The location of this cache will take you to the southern leg of the South Tampa Greenway, specifically the MacDill Trail. This section connects Gadsden Park to South Dale Mabry. You are looking for a small, clear, rubbermaid style container with room for small items. Bring a pencil just in case, and have fun. I included snakes and thorns in the attributes just because of the area. If the wind is blowing in the right direction and the flight pattern has been switched, you may get a VERY close view of some of the aircraft that fly in and out of MacDill Air Force Base.

The trail and overgrowth on the trail is maintained by the City of Tampa. Having said that, in the summer (rainy) months, it can get pretty high so be careful. That's a small hint, you'll have to go in to it at some times of the year, but not too far...only about a foot or two.

Congrats to HooIsWe on their first FTF!

Please hide it better than you found it! We've been by to check on it and clearly spotted it from the trail or found it no where near its original location.
