Cache se nachází poblíž vrcholu Písek (690 m) v oblasti Brdských
Hrebenu. Prakticky prímo na vrchol se dá dostat po celkem luxusní
asfaltové ceste. Duvodem jejího zbudování je pravdepodobne to, že
se témer na vrcholu nachází jeden ze sekundárních radaru Rízení
letového provozu Ceské republiky. Já osobne ale volím radeji cestu
pešky lesem, takže bych doporucil zaparkovat na waypointu PARK a
pokracovat po neznacené ceste vedoucí do kopce a pak zhruba za
šipkou (necelé 2km). Poblíž vrcholu je cesta trochu nárocnejší, ale
urcite si poradíte :-)
Z vrcholu samotného je videt nejlépe radar, pokud stojíte o výhled,
budete muset vrchol obejít. Pekný výhled je prímo od cache smerem
na Hostomice, rovnež prímo z asfaltové cesty pod radarem je výhled
pekný. Pokud se vydáte smerem od vrcholu smerem na jih, mužete si
užít i výhled smerem jižním, na Hluboš.
Pokud pojedete autem smerem od Príbrami pres Picín, mužete
navštívit též
Pohádkovou
zemi paní Klimtové.
Cache is located on the hill Písek (690 m). You can take quite nice
asphalt path to the hill. Reason for building of such a luxury path
is the secondary radar of Air Navigation Services of the Czech
republic, which is built almost on the top of the hill. But I would
prefer walking from waypoint PARK - you should take unmarked path
to the hill and then go more or less in the direction of your arrow
(about 1.25 mile).
From the top of the hill, you can see radar quite well, if you want
some scenic view, you should go around. Just from the location of
the cache, you can see quite well to the north - city of Hostomice.
If you go to the south from the top of the hill, you can see to the
north - eg. Hluboš.
