This cache was placed by myself and my 3 year son. It's easy to find and it does not require bushwacking to find. The trail approach is easy.
The cache, a 2.4 liter tupperware container, is filled with as many old toys as we could stuff in it. Each toy was selected by my son for placement in the treasure trove.
The fix was a WAAS-enhanced Magellan Map 330 fix with at least 6 satellites being used. The western US WAAS satellite was locked on for the entire averaging period. The fix was averaged for 90 seconds. The fix was taken about 2 feet to the south of the actual cache. I'd be curious to know how close people's readings are, particularly people with WAAS reception.
Elevation: 95 feet.
The cache was re-visited on Jan 31, 2002. A WAAS-enhanced fix of 47 41.594N, 122 24.138W, 159 feet elevation was taken, which is about 45 feet south of the original fix for this cache. Seekers may want to take this secondary fix into account. Added half star to difficulty and terrain. There are a number of possible hidding spots, but the hint will narrow it down.
