By my count, there are 36154 active geocahces in Golden Valley (not counting this one) as of 5/11/082/7/12. I thought I'd offer some encouragement for people to find them all. Consequently, the goal of this geocache is to find all of them. When you have done so, you can find the victory cache, a large ammo box. The find cannot be logged until the physical container is found and the logbook inside signed. To aid your search, you can use the bookmark Caches in Golden Valley, which this cache is also on.

GROUND RULES
- All cache types are fair game, with the exception of events (CITO included) and locationless caches.
- For mystery/puzzle caches, the location of the cache / final stage is the one that counts. So if the posted coordinates are in Golden Valley, but the cache itself is not, you don't need to find that one.
- If there is a multi-cache with different stages in different cities, use the final stage to determine whether or not the "cache" is in Golden Valley.
- If a multi-cache or puzzle cache meets this description, I may seek approval from the cache owner before adding it to the list, in case the owner does not want the final location given away. I may also wait until I've found it to add it to the list.
- If a cache on the bookmark list has been archived or temporarily disabled, you needn't find it to meet the challenge.
- It's possible that I missed a cache or two in creating the bookmark. This is most likely in the case of mystery/puzzle caches where the posted coordinates are in another city or disabled caches that have recently been reactivated. If you know of one I have missed, send me an e-mail and I can add it to the list. If you're uncertain whether a cache is in Golden Valley, there are maps here, here, and here.
- Check the bookmark list for changes.
- The difficulty rating relates to the fact that you have to find over 100 caches, including some tough puzzle caches, to be eligible for the final. The terrain rating corresponds to the most difficult terrain in the bookmark list (GC2KNKB, UPV: A Puzzling Set of Circumstances). The victory cache itself is probably a 1.5/1.5.
- While you may have others with you when you find the final cache, only those who have fulfilled ALL criteria for this cache will be allowed to log it as a find. Find logs by other cachers will be deleted.
- If you have conscientious objections to subscriber only caches, you do not need to find them to qualify for this challenge. However, any such caches are included in the bookmark list, the number of caches above, and the statistics below.
- Challenge caches that require finding a considerable number of caches outside of Golden Valley need not be found to meet this challenge, even if the final challenge cache is located in Golden Valley. Based on the current cachescape in Golden Valley, the following challenges require finding numerous caches outside of Golden Valley. They are therefore not required to qualify for the Golden Valley Challenge, even though they are actually located in Golden Valley. This list may be added to as time goes on:
