Geocache Description:

From God.Blues Brothers.A hike across Maple Swamp Park.

I was on a mission to see if I could hike from Pleasure Dr.All the way across Maple Swamp Park,to Spinney Rd.And stay on the Paumanok Path.I missed one turn,but I got back on the trail,and I was able to accomplish my goal.The hike from one end to the other was about 2 miles.I stayed on the Path,and followed it around the pond,and went south for a short time,and ended up on Spinney Rd. across from the Trailhead that enters Sears Bellows Park.I then proceeded south on Spinney,to see if there where any trails there that would take me back to Pleasure Dr.I found a faint trail that seemed to be used by horseback riders.Followed it as far as I could but the trail died out.So I continued down Spinney to the power line rd.then west to Pleasure Dr. for a total hike of 7.60 miles. I tried to keep exposure to ticks to a minimum.Cache is about 15 ft. off of the trail.I didn't think that this was that tough,but here another hint.Enloy!
