Geocache Description:

Ce cimetière militaire dit du "Mouton Noir" rassemble des sépultures militaires de Français tombés au Léomont tout proche (GC15916).
Le chemin aménagé des Quatre Vents (il porte bien son nom, couvrez vous) permet d'aller d'un site à l'autre en passant par la Ballade #5 jusqu'à #1.

This military cemetery called the " Black Sheep " collects military graves of French people fallen to the Léomont quite close (GC15916). A fitted out road called the "Four Winds" (it wears well its name, cover you) allows to go from a site to the other one.
Don't forget to find the serie starting from here by Ballade #5.

" La bataille du Léomont est une des plus belles pages de gloire de la Division de Fer. C'est la première victoire française de 1914-1918. Les jours suivants la lutte se poursuit sur les hauteurs de Friscati et aux abords immédiats de Lunéville. Peu à peu les allemands cèdent et la victoire se dessine en Lorraine. En effet, quelques jours plus tard, à la mi-septembre, le front se stabilisera à hauteur de la forêt de Parroy, sur une ligne qui ne bougera pratiquement plus jusqu'au 11 novembre 1918."

" The battle of Léomont is one of the gloriest stories of the Iron division. It is the first French victory of 1914-1918. The next days the fight continues on the heights of Friscati and in the immediate neighborhoods of Lunéville. Little by little German give in and the victory is outlined in Lorraine. Indeed, some days later, in mid-September, the front will stabilize at the level of the forest of Parroy, on a line which not on a line which will not move practically any more until November 11th, 1918. "
