This cache is located in a remote location off State Highway 24 near the town of Caineville, Utah.
Due to the high number of extraterrestrial (ET) sightings in this area, a cache was placed at a little-known UFO crash site. Hopefully it will help convince doubters of the existence of aliens who visit this planet. Maybe this barren landscape reminds many of the ETs of their home planets.
One tourist was overheard saying, “I drove east out of Capitol Reef National Park and before I knew it, I had driven onto the surface of the moon!”
This southeast Utah desert is so alien in nature, NASA scientists have recently used a nearby site for teaching robots to converse and to work in teams with human beings in their ExtraVehicular Activity (EVA) project with the goal to advance robotics so human-robot teams can explore the moon and Mars more effectively.
Many claim the UFO sightings are related to top-secret government projects. However, many sightings happened before the advancement of modern technology on earth.
Quotes from eye witnesses of the strange phenomenon of UFO sightings near this area are:
July 19, 1953: “. . . I followed the craft in my jeep for a few miles, traveling as fast as I dared. It seemed to be toying with me. Then it suddenly changed directions, heading straight up and then flew away in a southwest direction at lightening speed.” –P-
May 1968: “As we recall . . . six of us were camping at the head of the Caineville Wash by a seep and sleeping out under the stars. In the middle of the night, it started to sprinkle rain. Not wanting to get wet or caught in a flashflood, we grabbed our sleeping bags and headed for cover under a sandstone overhang. We had just gotten underneath the overhanging ledge when a large beam of light came down from the sky and started scouring the area where we had been sleeping only moments before. It seemed to be searching for us. We knew it wasn't a helicopter because there was no engine noise, in fact, the night was eerily silent. Some of us cowered out of sight except for V, who kept trying to see the source of the light; however, her terrified friends held her back. After a few moments of searching, the light turned off and V broke away from our friend's grasp and got out from under the ledge just in time to see an unidentified craft shoot off to the north, make a 90 degree turn, and then shoot straight east, out of sight. It traveled nearly 30 miles and out of sight in approximately 3-5 seconds.

Whether you believe these tales is up to you. Your mission as a geocacher, if you accept it, is to quickly find a hidden cache container at the site before extraterrestrial scientists have time to abduct you for their examination.
At the time of the crash the aliens left behind the hidden cache, to be found only by those who know how to use their advanced writing system consisting of numbers and encrypted letters and have also mastered the use of a GPS (a technology shared with our government by an advanced alien race). The ETs are performing an experiment to see how many humans are intelligent enough to find the cache. When you find it, sign your name so they can put you on their list of worthy earthlings. Don’t worry if you see strange lights or hear weird sounds in the area. It’s just the aliens restocking the box or watching over their scientific study. If you take something from the box please replace it with something of equal value that the aliens would be sure to approve.
Once near the cache the GPS readings starts to jump around. The ETs are probably jamming the signal.
