The cache may be reached along the public footpath from the south or north, but we favour the northern approach which gives you a lovely walk through St Pierre Great Wood where the spring flowers are just coming into bloom. There is a parking area at N51°38.137 W2°43.080.
The lanes to the south are rather narrow and parking is difficult, but you could park at N51°37.225' W2°42.795 then walk north-east along the narrow lane to the start of the footpath.
Once you've found the cache, walk up through the trees a few yards to the highest point by the mobile phone mast to admire the view. Looking towards the east gives you a good view of the old bridge and you'll see the white roof of Chepstow Garden Centre. Just to the left, and a little nearer, are the reddish brown roofs of New Hall farm.
Have a good look around the fields near this farm and see if you can spot the reason for this cache. We hope you enjoy the hunt, but please don't give away too many details in your log... Happy Easter!
