Small (decon container). Cache elevation is 6490' (about 530' elevation gain from Copper parking. The reason for the name will be obvious when you find it. Golden Dollar for the first to find.
This cache is not far from the south end of the Mano trail. Park at the end of Copper for the closest approach. The most direct way is to climb up the Mano trail from N35 5.019 W106 28.593. However, I found a great little-traveled trail on the way down, and I would highly suggest it. To go this way, find the trail heading east from the saddle behind U Mound on the bike trail (N35 4.819, W106 28.705). Follow this up the arroyo towards the probably dry "water fall" rocks. When you get to N35 4.857 W106 28.503 the trail turns south and climbs steeply. From the top, follow the trail northeast to the arroyo above the falls. Stop and look around - nice views. Continue up the arroyo to a little woody glade at N35 4.877 W106 28.361 where the trail leaves the arroyo and continues north. Follow it to the junction with the Mano trail (very near the cache).
