What to Bring
Bring yourself, your GPS unit, your friends and some Island fun. We
will have a couple of Tiki games and contests!
Picnic At the Watchung Preservation Evergreen picnic area we
will be having a potluck lunch from 11:00 a.m. until around 1 p.m.
Please post what food you will be bring. Email me (TikiGal: AKA
Lakelady) if you need help deciding what to bring.
Tiki God Cache Hunt!
Come and join the fun! A pre-event (and open all day) hike will
take any intrepid explorer on a thrilling adventure through the
wilds of Watchung Preservation. Tiki Idol King Watchung and the
other Tiki gods seem to have lost their stashes. Can you appease
all five of the Tiki gods by finding their tiki idols? Each god
idol contains a Tiki stamp to verify you visited him. Find all 5
and win a prize!
For the kids! After finding all the Tiki gods, kids (and big
kids) are invited to make a Beach Monkey! We will also have Tiki
drawings to color in, Tiki tatoo art and more! Stop by the arts and
crafts table
American Tiki Idol Contest We don't have Simon Cowell, but
we do have a sour Brit named Avroair who will be judging the
Tropical Tiki Outfit contest, so put on those grass hats, Hawaiian
shirts, coconut bras and grass skirts and dress like an outrageous
Tropical Islander! We will base the judging on funniest, most
unique, most creative, sheer coolness and whackiest!
Event Geocoin In order to support NNJC, they event will have
an exclusive souvenir geocoin.
