How many caches have you found that are critter related?

Here’s a list of critters I have come across so far: Amphibian, Antelope, Ape, Bass, Bear, Beast, Beaver, Bee, Bigfoot, Bird, Bison, Bovine, Buffalo, Bug, Bull, Bulldog, Bunny, Butterfly, Canine, Cattle, Chameleon, Chinook, Cougar, Cow, Coyote, Croc, Deer, Dog, Dragon, Dragonfly, Duck, Eagle, Elk, Fish, Fox, Frog, Gnat, Goat, Goose, Gopher, Hog, Horse, Huskie, Hyena, Kitten, Lamb, Lion, Mesquito, Monkey, Neanderthal, Otter, Oyster, Ox, Pair-a-site, Penguin, Pig, Pollywog, Pooches, Purple finch, Rabbit, Raptor, Rat, Rattlesnake, Rhino, Roadrunner, Salamander, Salmon, Slug, Snake, Spider, Swan, Tick, Tiger, Troll, Trout, Turkey, Whale, and Wienerdog.

As you can see, the term ‘critter’ is very loosely defined because I don’t want to make it too difficult for people to meet the criteria. “Critter” includes animals, bugs, insects, fishes, reptiles and all other creepy-crawly things (yes, even oysters and snakes!) If you are going to use a TB hotel, the word ‘bug’ must be spelled out in the title.

The posted coordinates lead you to the parking coordinates located, of course, in Oxbow Park. To claim this find please post a public bookmark to share your list of caches to serve as inspiration to others.

Now for the guidelines:

1. All caches count – even if found prior to this cache being published. All types of caches count including event caches.

2. You must find 25 different caches with the name of a critter in the title. If the title contains the name of 2 critters (such as "Duck Duck Goose", "Pig Dog's Treasure Trove", and "Lions, Tigers, & Bears, Oh My") you must choose 1 animal.

3. The 25 caches must represent 25 different critters, though you have a lot of wiggle room here.
- A wienerdog is different than a bulldog is different than a dog so "Wienerdogs Home" and "Hey Bulldog" and "Gaspode the Wonder Dog" count as 3 separate critters.
- "Troutdale's Travel Bug Rest Area", "The Old Salmon #742-A" and "Kickin' Bass and Watchin' Trains" count as 3 separate critters.
- A generic critter is different than a more specific critter so "Snake Bit" and "Rattlesnake Park" count as 2 separate critters. "A Bird’s Eye View" and "Purple Finch Boardwalk" count as 2 separate critters.
- "A Cow’s Tale", "breadcrumbs # 5....fake cattle?" and "Bovine Rock Mooosic" count as 3 separate critters.
- A rabbit is different than a bunny so "Jack Rabbit Lane" and "The Haunted Bunny Forest Playstaion 2 Cache" count as 2 separate critters.
- However, "Here Kitty, Kitty!" And "ODS Snoogan's 5-thrill kitten", are just different forms of the same word so you may only use one of them.

4. Abbreviated names of animals are ok
- "CROC @ Champoeg" and "The Rhino Game" are acceptable.

5. The critter may be part of a longer word.
- "Fish the Horseshoe" counts as ‘horse’ (or ‘fish’), " A Flyfishing Memorial" counts as ‘fish’, "RiverFox (II)" counts as ‘fox’, "The Oxbow Incident" counts as ‘Ox’, etc.

6. This should give you enough information to stay within the spirit of this cache.

7. The most important rule of all – HAVE FUN!
