Une fresque d'inspiration exotique en plein coeur du quartier allemand ! C'est la surprise étonnante que réserve cette cache. Cette fantaisie qui mêle harmonieusement l'orientalisme à l'Art Nouveau ("Jugendstil" en Allemand) date de 1905.

Cet aspect méconnu de la ville s'est développé surtout au XIXe siècle. L'influence orientale se retrouve de la même manière dans l'architecture publique et privée. Cette façade de maison, édifiée en 1905-1906, reproduit une scène de chasse dans les marais. Les peintures sont de Adolf Zilly.

A fresco of exotic inspiration in full heart of the German district! It is the surprise that reserves this cache. This fantasy which harmoniously mixes orientalism with the Art Nouveau (called "Jugendstil" in German), dates from 1905.
This unrecognized aspect of the city chiefly developed at the XIXe century. We can find this Eastern influence in the same way in public and private architecture. This frontage of house, built in 1905-1906, reproduces a hunting scene in the marshes. Paintings are from Adolf Zilly.
