Simply Paul: As everyone who attended has logged, it's time to archive this, formerly the UK's most northerly cache, and probably the most northerly event... Unless you know better? (I wouldn't mind an excuse to come back to Shetland, but give me a while to recover from the last trip, yeah?!) [:D]

If anyone's got any more photos, please feel free to add them to their log on this one, or the physical I placed 323ft away.

Thanks again to the five brave souls who joined me for this part of an amazing trip to the edge of Britain. Next year, Jersey or there-about's, as Britain's most southerly point. Should be rather easier going!

Following on from St Kilda in 2007 and St Agnes in 2008, it's right to go as far north for an extreme cache event; Unst in the Shetlands...

Your target: Hermaness Hill and a view of Muckle Flugga and Out Stack

Herma Ness is the target for this year's most extreme geocache event! Following on from the success of 2007's event on St Kilda (furthest west you can get in the UK) and 2008's on St Agnes (as south as the UK gets) it was this or Lowerstoft... Count yourselves lucky :)

I'll be leaving a cache here as I've had the OK from the local land owner (thank you David) and the National Nature Reserve folk (thank you Jonathan) and have their support to look after it...
