Geocache Description:

Saturday March 1, 2008
3:00-5:00
Send off will be in the morning 7:30-9:00 with coffee and donuts while supplies last. This will be a chance to team up with other geocachers to go into the District.

TRASH IN? CACHE OUT?
This is a camo container workshop.
Have you ever wondered about all those silly containers we place? or those camo rocks? fake bricks?
This is your chance to get the inside scoop on making unusal cache containers, many made from TRASH! We hope you will be able to go home with something you will put together OR get some ideas.
There will be many new caches in this 4x4 area and if you don't have a 4x4 don't let that stop you. You will be able to make it to the event location with not too much trouble, and hopefully you will be able to enjoy the Dale Mining District Caches with groups heading into the area.

UPDATE! This was such a hit we decided it needs to be a yearly event. We especially want to thank Team Lit_Rod for all the food they provided and that GREAT cooking set up.
They are both so awesome and have been wonderful friends and have given us help and support.
We would also like to let everyone know our friend 6ftzpr is heading for home and it was because of him that we got together at this time. It was fantastic timing with great weather and the beautiful wild flowers. We all walked into our homes with the yellow desert flower dust on our shoes!
We also want to say we dropped the ball on the container workshop! We had so many different "teams" of cachers out there and coming back at different times that the scheduled workshop didn't seem to pan out, after all we all came to geocache and that they did. We will do another "workshop" in the future that will be more of something of the real thing but, of course, we will have new caches so here we will go again.
Thank you SO MUCH for all your smiling faces, it makes every bit of placing caches fun for us.
