Part of the new Flying Colours series, "BuryMeWick" is in a small container with a wee bit of room for geocoins etc. The woods just to the south near the railway bridge are called Burymewick (or Burymequick) Wood. Quick means alive... I would have placed the cache right in those woods, but to be honest this is a much more pleasant location, close to the River Goyt.
If you take the Public Footpath from here you will climb steeply one way or another to the village. Sticking close to the river may bag you another cache but you may prefer to climb away from the Kruger Tissue factory.
The nearest possible parking places are under the railway bridge on Lower Greenshall Lane or further North along the road there is a proper lay-by.
The entire series is designed to give the option of drives and interesting walks between caches.
First To Find will yield a small prize.
Please rehide the cache well.

Flying Colours Series Puzzler
To solve the whole series you will need to know:
- What colour is the container?
- What is the name of the cottage whose garden you pass by on the way to the cache?
The Flying Colours Series has not yet been completely set, but remember the colour for the Final. I'll contact everyone who visits any of the caches in the series once the final cache is in place
Enjoy the walk!! Why not go on to FCol - Hope Springs Eternal?
