The stash is wrapped in a green garbage bag and is hidden under a fallen log about 40 metres from the Heysen Trail.
You can drive to within 500 metres on the western side.
There are some magnificent views from the approach road across the Barossa Valley with its patchwork of lush green vineyards and dry straw wheatfields. Stunning.
And of course, after you've found the stash, you can call into any of the wineries to sample Australia's finest (thanks St Hallets).
