Åstrup Kirke er en ganske anselig kirke som beståe af romansk kor og skib samt 3 sengotiske tilføjelser: et våbenhus mod syd, tårn mod vest og sakristi ved korets nordside. Desuden på skibets nordside en korsarm.
Inde i kirken finder man et muret alterbord, som bærer et flot altertavle fra 1638.
Prædikestolen og lydhimlen er fra 1621.
Stoleværket er fra 1941 og bærer Christian X´s og Dronning Alexandrines initialer. De var flittige gæster i kirken efter Genforeningen.
Skibet har et af de flotteste kirkelofter i landet: Et prægtigt kasetteloft med flotte udskæringer og bemaling. Det er fra 1675 og restaureret i 1937.
Eng. Åstrup Kirke is quite an impressive church with Roman choir and nave. There are 3 LateGothic extensions: a porch towards south, a tower towards west and a sachristy towards north. In 1789 was built an aisle towards north.
In the church you find a bricked Communion Table with a nice altarpiece from 1638
The pulpit and the sounding-board are from 1621.
The row of seats bear the initials of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine, who were frequent guests after the Reunion in 1920.
The nave has one of the nicest ceilings in the country. A magnificent coffer with nice carving and painting. It is dated 1675 and is restored in 1937.
