This cache is located within the Ninham Mountain MUA (Multiple Use Area) in Putnam County. The cache is well hidden and should be a challenge to all. General access to the area is from a parking area. It might be helpful to consult an area map to find the access road. Parking lot coordinates: N41° 27.251' W073° 43.287'
This area is open to hunting so be aware if you visit during the fall season. There is a mountain bike trail passing nearby though it does not appear to be heavily used. GPS reception should be good in the area. While you're here, why not try climbing to the top of the recently reopened fire tower. It's in the general vicinity. The views are impressive for sure.
