Once upon a time there was a loooong piece of land connecting Shediac Island to the mainland. All of the woodland creatures like the squirrels, rabbits and of course, the famed Shediac bison would use the strip of land to go out onto what is now Shediac Island. Knowlsey, a teeny tiny silver bison loved the island so much that he rarely left.
Some of the animals, like Will the flatulent squirrel and Paul the beligerent badger noticed that the strip of land was getting smaller and smaller and tried to convince Knowlesy to leave.
Knowlesy refused to leave at all. One day he was feeling very lonely but when he went to leave the island, he found out that he no longer could. The strip of land was gone!
So now, Knowlesy stays hanging in an evergreen tree, approximately 5 feet off of the ground. He can be hard to spot, but I'm sure he would appreciate a visit.
