There are many caches on mountains in Canberra. Many of them are hard work. Well, I’ve decided to place a cache on one of the lowest mountains in Canberra! At 578m Mt Casuarina must be one of the weediest mountains in the ACT!
But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t offer a fine climb, and most importantly, some grand views! Yes, like other mountain climbs in Canberra, the views are superb! But, unlike 99% of other mountain climbs, at least I offer a seat to rest on and enjoy the views at the top!.
This lookout is also known as Grasstree Lookout.
