Heliotrop - Solararchitektur pur!
Das Heliotrop ist ein "Solarbetriebenes, sich mit der Sonne drehendes, Plusenergiehaus", ein von Solarpionier und -Architekt Rolf Disch entwickelter und gebauter Prototyp voll innovativer Ideen und Technik. Schon die äußere Form mutet futuristisch an: Ein Zylinder, vorne Fenster, hinten gut isolierte Blechwand, das ganze drehbar, so dass immer die Sonne in die Räume scheinen kann. Und wenn es im Sommer zu heiß wird? Dann kann das Haus der Sonne einfach den Rücken zudrehen und man hat den ersehnten Schatten!
Die klimaschädigenden CO 2 - Schleudern bitte bei N 47° 58.367 E 7° 49.807 abstellen, dann zu Fuß dem SCHLIERGBERGWEG folgen. Das letzte Haus vor dem Gelände des Weinbauinstiuts ist das Heliotrop. Zum Cache geht es noch etwas weiter den Weg entlang.

Heliotrop is a Solarhouse in form of a rotating Zylinder. On one side are Windows, on the other there are none. The House planned and buildt by the Sorararchitect and - pioneer Rolf Disch can Follow the sun. In hot summers, it can turn its back to the sun, so you can enjoy the shadow! It produces more energie then it needs!
Leave your car at N 47° 58.367 E 7° 49.807 and follow (by foot) the SCHLIERBERGWEG. The last house before the Weinbauinstiut is the Heliotrop. To the cache you have to walk a little further.
