Welcome to our first letterbox cache! Excuse the corny name but when you have little kids who love the tv character I thought the name fitted pretty well to us. Be sure to sing-a-long to our version of Postman Pat.
Postman Rat, Postman Rat,
Postman Rat and his 3 mini Rats,
Early in the morning, Just as day is dawning,
He picks up all the post bags in his truck.

All the birds are singing, and the day is just beginning.
The Rat feels he’s a really happy man.
Everybody knows his bright white truck,
All his friends will smile as he waves to greet them,
Maybe… You can never be sure,
There’ll be knock… Ring
Letters through your door.

Cache notes:
- Please remember that THE STAMP IS NOT A SWAP ITEM. It needs to stay in the cache for others to find.
- The cache has a postcard theme, similar to the one in the ACT, which I found in 2007.
- Please pick one (1) postcard.
- Write your log in the form of a letter to me. Write about a caching experience you've had.
- Take your postcard home with you
- Place a stamp on the card
- Drop it in the mail to me.
- The cache also contains a logbook where you can leave your personal stamp or sticker.
Thanks to the Cheekyfrogs for giving up this spot so I could place my cache at this beautiful spot. In summer you might want to have a swim just upstream from here.
As with any cache, there is a slight element of risk. Please keep an eye on the geokiddies. They should make it to within a couple of metres of GZ quite easily.
