Vodarenska vez


Vodarenska vez byla vybudovana v letech 1932-1936 a dodnes je klicovym zarizenim pro rozvod vody po Podebradech. Puvodni projekt pripravil uz v roce 1912 podebradsky rodak, profesor Ing.Dr. Jan V. Hrasky. Pred stavbou musela byt vyhloubena studna az na opukove podlozi v hloubce 15,7m o svetlosti 5 metru. Vlastni vez s obsahem 470krychlovych metru vody je mohutny valec o prumeru 10 metru, rozsireny ve spodni casti o kolonadou a nahore ukonceny kulovitou strechou. Vez dosahuje vysky 45 metru, pricemz rezervoar je umisten v horni castí 30 metru nad okolim Od sveho vzniku az dosud dodava rocne do potrubi pres 12 milionu hektolitru pitne vody.


Cache neni v arealu, takze za plot nelezt.


Water Tower


Water tower was built in 1932-1936 and to this day it is key building for water distribution all over Podebrady. The tower is 45m high and the water tank is 30m above ground.


Cache is not behind the fence, so don't enter the restricted range.
