Geocache Description:

A second cache (and my first) in the beautiful Gulbenkian gardens.

Placed somewhere on the grounds of the Gulbenkian Foundation, this cache is intended to serve as a good excuse to visit the gardens. One of the most beautiful public parks in Lisbon, its well planned layout blends in with the modern arquitecture of the foundation's contemporary buildings. The museums house very interesting permanent exibitions, as well as a classical music programme in it's concert halls. My advice: if you are a student (or otherwise eligible for a discount) you may visit the Modern Art collection at the Centro de Arte Moderna for FREE.

A word of advice, watch out for muggles, especially the gardeners and security people. After you replace the cache, please remember to camouflage it a bit with some dry leaves, for example; Whatever you do, try to leave it as inconspicuous as possible.

Nota adicional aos Geocachers "hardcore": Fiquei (desagradavelmente, confesso) surpreendido com algumas críticas que têm vindo a surgir no log online sobre a cache. É verdade que é a minha primeira cache; tenho o GPSr desde o Natal. É verdade que ainda só encontrei uma outra cache na vida; vivo perto dos jardins e tenho vida ocupada para além disto. Acontece que me apeteceu, com muita humildade, colocar uma cache na Gulbenkian. Como sabem, o jardim é constantemente patrulhado e revirado do avesso por jardineiros, por isso as hipoteses de colocar uma cache duradoura são muito escassas: sim, é uma micro, sim, está escondida de forma semelhante à outra. Peço sinceras desculpas a todos por não ter escondido a cache de forma originalissima e/ou por não ter incluido na cache mais espaço para "trade items" e TBs, um logbook com folhas A4, nem sequer uma máquina de cafés para quem veio de mais longe. Para todos os geocachers altamente exigentes que (pelos vistos) por aí andam, o meu conselho é que não vale a pena virem procurar esta, é pobrezinha, pouco original e não dá gozo nenhum.
