Geocache Description:

A Simple, yet very interesting and informative Earth Cache with a great view of majestic Mount Nebo.

The Wasatch Mountain range runs North and South, extending from the Wellsville Mountains in the North to Mount Nebo in the South. Mount Nebo is the highest mountain in the Wasatch range. The Wasatch Mountian rangemarks the Eastern border with Wyoming, and are the Western front of the Middle Rocky Mountains. The most striking characteristic of the Wasatch mountains is their abrupt, wall-like Western front, cut by many deep canyons. Scattered across the mountainous terrain are the sparkling, jewel-like lakes formed by glaciers that once covered the area.
