Der Name "Abalone" stammt aus der entstehungszeit von diesem Cache. Damals war eine Muschel (Abalone oder auch Seeohr) aus dem Mittelmeer in der Dose versteckt. Leider hat der Name mit der zwanghaften Zügelei seinen Sinn etwas verloren.

Die Öffnungsrichtung der Dose ist markiert. BITTE NUR BIS ZUM ANSCHLAG ZUDREHEN, DANN EINE HALBE UMDREHUNG ZURÜCK.

Dieser Ort ist ein optimaler Startpunkt für eine Cachetour durchs Frauenthal oder ein Besuch im nah gelegenen Ziegelei-Museum.
