Geocache Description:

Happy New Year!

It’ll be 2008 and time to celebrate! Well at least to catch up and welcome in the New Year! Gather at the BBQ area at Richmond down behind the Gaol near the river from 11:30am onwards Saturday 5th Jan for an informal lunchy get together. There’s a parking spot right next to the area so you don’t have to lug your things any distance at all (S 42° 44.155 E 147° 26.399) and there is more parking up near the public toilets as well. Dogs are fine on lead. You might like to have a stroll along the riverbank, and the cache Damn Ducks (GCKZ8Q) is nearby if you haven’t already done it.
I will provide dips, dippers and Dippy’s special bikkies but if you think you might still be feeling peckish there are also BBQ facilities there, so BYO barbequeing food and drinks. Of course there’s always the Richmond Bakery as well…
Oh, and please list the number attending to give me a bit of an idea of how many bikkies to bake!
