Aeroporto de Beja     Beja Airport

         Com um investimento de 33 milhões de euros, o Aeroporto de Beja com ocupando uma área de 2500 metros quadrados, terá as suas pistas de 3450 m., a maior do país, e 2951 m. operacionais no final de 2008.
         Para uns visto como demagogia para outros como a porta para o futuro do Baixo Alentejo, o aeroporto de Beja teve a sua primeira pedra colocada pelas mão do Primeiro-ministro José Sócrates no passado dia 27/01/2007. Pretende-se com este aeroporto tenha um grande impacto no desenvolvimento regional do Baixo Alentejo e que seja uma infra-estrutura impulsionadora do turismo da região e uma opção a Faro.
         O futuro dirá o que nos reserva este aeroporto. Para já, aos geocacheres visitantes, apenas peço que coloquem no log fotografias do momento para se poder acompanhar a evolução do aeroporto		              With an investment of 33 million euro, the Airport of Beja placed in a area of 2500 square meters, will have their runways of 3450 m., the country biggest, and 2951 m. operating at the end of 2008.
         For some viewed as demagoguery to others as the door to the future of Baixo Alentejo, the Beja airport had its first stone placed by the hand of Prime Minister José Sócrates in last 27/01/2007. It is intended with this airport a great impact on regional development of the Lower Alentejo and is infrastructure driving tourism into the region and an option to Faro.
         The future will tell us what this airport reserve. For now, for geocacheres visitors, I which that I place on the log pictures of the moment in order to monitor the airport evolution.
