Geocache Description:

Mor Annas hus

Old Anna´s cottage

An old man his wife lived in a small cottage far into the forest. In summer all kind of flowers lit up the surroundings and people from everywhere come to admire the beauty. Never before had they seen that many flowers in a forest. The old women were called "Flower-mother".
In that way a fairy-tale cold begin, and it actually does. The true story about the clock/watchmaker and old-job man August Johansson and his wife Anna from Alsterbro. "Mother Anna" as she also was called, was an old woman who lived in and together with the nature. She made her own medicines from what she fond found in the forest and never needed any help from the doctors.
Early mornings she was up tending to her plants and all of them had a good life into the sixties. Anna was almost 90 years of age by then.
