Bedwetters is an Estonian punk-rock band formed in 2004 September, they are from a small town Pärnu (50000 inhabitants). They were recognized from winning a contest in Estonia created by the Zen mobile phone card. The band consists of Karl-Kristjan Kingi on drums, Joosep Järvesaar on vocals, Mihkel Mõttus and Rauno Kutti on guitar and backing vocals, Kaspar Koppel on bassguitar.
For winning the Zen contest, the band was nominated in the MTV EMA Munich 2007 New Sounds of Europe category, soon, the band made it to the final three nominees in the category, and finally won the award, winning great publicity.
In the final, the Bedwetters were against a Turkish band, Yakup, and a Romanian band, Firma. The award was presented by the American rapper Snoop Dogg and Nelly Furtado who had won the award for the best alum of the year. After winning the award the Bedwetters performed their most-known song ”A Dramatic Letter to Consience”.
The guys were, of course, extremely happy to win the award: they became the first Estonian group/artist to win the MTV EMA award. The first half of their live-performance at the award-gala was clumsy: the music was brickle and the singers voice was trembling. Well, its understandable since it was their first performance to a crowd so big. But the Bedwetters took theirselves togeather and finally put up a good show to end the award-gala. Although the singers jumping on the stage was pretty strange and his jeans kept falling down. But that’s allright.
They’ve got their future ahead of them. Lets just wait…

TTC caches lead you to nice and interesting places in Tallinn. The ninth of the series is hidden to salute the Bedwetters win. Any why is the cache hidden in a place like that? Look at the photo - video for ”A Dramatic Letter to Consience” was shot there, about 50m away from the cache. Although I’m not a big fan of their music, I’m really happy, that they won the award. Good job, guys!
